Tracy P. Moon, of Gladwin, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 57. He was born on May 9, 1966, to Roger and Patricia Moon in Gladwin.
Tracy was united in marriage to his loving wife, Tammy, on June 8, 1996. Together, they shared many cherished moments and built a beautiful life.
He was employed at Kalyani Mobility Driveline in Standish, where he dedicated himself to his work. Tracy was also known for his unwavering commitment as a volunteer firefighter for the Gladwin Rural Urban Fire Department, serving for over 10 years.
In his leisure time, Tracy found joy in various outdoor activities such as boating, hunting, and fishing. He was musically inclined and took pride in being a self-taught guitar player. Tracy had a knack for building, fixing, or repairing anything that came his way. He particularly enjoyed the thrill of mud drag racing.
Above all, Tracy treasured moments spent with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense happiness and fulfillment.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Tammy Moon; loving daughters, Kailin (Joe) Reid and Emily (Dillon) Moon; cherished grandchildren, Lucas Reid, Delaney Reid, and Alaska Oliver; mother, Patricia Moon; brother, Shane (Kim) Moon; and sister, Renee (Jamie) Felix. Tracy also leaves behind several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will deeply miss him. He is preceded in death by his father: Roger Moon.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 8, 2024, at 12:00 P.M. at the Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home in Gladwin. Visitation will take place from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Tracy will be laid to rest at Highland Cemetery in Gladwin. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
