Tracy Nudo

QUEBEC – Tracy Zordan Nudo, 59, formerly of Litchfield, passed away on August 4, 2024, at the Teresa-Dellar Palliative Care Residence in Kirkland, Quebec. She was the loving wife of Salvatore Nudo.
Tracy was born on October 1, 1964 in Torrington, Conn.. She was raised in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School. Tracy went on to graduate from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine with a BS Biology and from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec with a degree in Education.
Tracy did research on Lupus in Boston before moving to Canada where she did cancer research prior to attending McGill University.
She was a devoted Science teacher at MacDonald High School in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue in Quebec, Canada until her illness prevented her from teaching. While teaching she accompanied students to Europe for several years.
Tracy enjoyed attending various classes at the West Island Therapy & Wellness Center including painting, photography, tai chi, sound meditation and crafts.
Tracy is survived by her parents, Francis and Carol Zordan of Litchfield, Conn.; her husband Salvatore Nudo of St. Anne De Bellevue, Quebec; her daughter, Alexandra Nudo of Montreal; her son, Domenic Nudo of St. Anne De Bellevue, Quebec; her sister, Pamela Zordan Breiner (Sean) of Glen Mills, Penn.; her nephews and niece, Zachary, Madison and Collin Breiner, Philippe and Mathieu Sylvestre, Adriano, Jordano and Christiano Nudo; her uncle, Martin Healy (Pat) of Rising Sun, MD; her aunt, Sheila Healy of New Hartford, Conn.; and her uncle, Gary Healy (Dawn) of Hartlepool, England; as well as many cousins and her beloved dog, Finn, who has been her companion during her illness.
She was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Katherine Healy; paternal grandmother, Theresa Zordan; and her uncle, Thomas Blazek.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations "In Memory of Tracy Nudo" may be made to Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence, 265 Rue Andre-Brunet, Kirkland, Quebec, H9H 3R4
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 49 South Street, Litchfield. Friends and family may visit from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. prior to Mass at Thurston Rowe Funeral Home, 283 Torrington Road, Litchfield.
