Tracy Stake Obituary
Marengo-Tracy Alan Stake was born June 3, 1964, in Marengo, Iowa, the son of Gary Stake and Carol Blakesley. He graduated from Marion High School and attended University of Iowa. He worked for Williamsburg Manufacturing in Williamsburg. Tracy enjoyed collecting guns and driving his Jeep. He was a member of the Iowa Long Rifle Group, 1750-1840 Living History Re-enactment Group, Mountain Men Buccaneers and Cutler’s Brigade. Tracy died Monday, January 20, 2025, at his home at the age of 60 years.
He is survived by his mother Carol Garner of Ashville, NC; father Gary (Kandi) Stake of St. John, FL; brother Steven of Ashville, NC; a sister Natalie (Michael) Gassman; a niece Olivia Dupre; a nephew Cole Gassmanan uncle, Dan Blakesely of Rockford, IL and cousins, Craig (Shelley) Berger of Marengo, Carla Clarmen of Cedar Rapids and Darren Blakesely of Rockford, IL. .
Celebration of Life Gathering will be Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. Messages and tributes may be directed to www.powellfuneralhomes.com.
