Tracy Dean Tyler, resident of Burleson, TX, formerly of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on January 12, 2025 at his home at the age of 51 years.
Tracy was born in Ada, OK on October 20, 1973 to Diann and Dean Tyler. His early years were spent in Ada before moving to Longview, TX. Tracy graduated from Pine Tree High School in Longview. Tracy was a professional musician and was only 12 years old when he began his career. He was an amazing drummer, but could play just about any instrument. Tracy played music with many different bands throughout his career and traveled the US! He was well-known in the music industry throughout the DFW area.
Tracy loved life! He had a great sense of humor and wanted others to laugh and be happy. He had a kind heart and was loving towards others. He loved all of his family. He was an extremely talented musician. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his extended family.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather; Diann and Wade Flickinger, significant other; Robyn Timmons and her daughter Madison, brother; Jeffrey Tyler and wife Carmen and their daughter, Laila, aunts; Rodonnah Briscoe and Candace McKee, cousins; Vannessa Burson and family, Christopher Lee and family, along with numerous family, friends and bandmates. He was preceded in death by his father; Dean Tyler, maternal grandparents; Okemah and Kenneth Walker, and Bonner VanNess, and paternal grandparents; Pearl and Wes Tyler.
