Tracy Wagner Obituary

DEFIANCE - Tracy A. Wagner, age 56, of Defiance, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2022, in Defiance, Ohio.

He was born on July 11, 1965, to William Hicks and Linda (Wagner) Johnson in Defiance, Ohio. Tracy was well-known for his talent as a tattoo artist. He was a wonderful son, father and grandfather. Tracy will be sadly missed by his family and many good friends.

Tracy is survived by his mother, Linda Johnson of Defiance, his daughters, Victoria Powell of Garrett, Indiana, Cynthia Wagner of Defiance, Patience Wagner of Evansport, Ohio, Bonnie Marshall of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, and Brianna Marshall of Defiance, and his son, Damon Wagner of Defiance. He also leaves behind five grandsons, Xavier, Drake, Blayde, Jacob and Alexander, two granddaughters, Faith and Oaklynn, his sister, Carla Gick of Angola, Indiana, and his brothers, Blain Ayers of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky, and Tycen Jones of Stanton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Hicks, step-father, Allen Johnson, his son, Edward Wagner, and his brothers, Todd Ayers and Ronald Steel.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, from 2-8 p.m. at Schaffer Funeral Home in Defiance. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022, at 11 a.m. the funeral home with the Rev. Janet Strickland officiating. Due to CDC guidelines, if you are not fully vaccinated a mask is required to enter the funeral home, and our lounge area will remain closed.
