Tracy Wilson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Sebrell Funeral Home on Feb. 2, 2026.
Tracy had a passion for exploring new ideas and was gifted artistically. She enjoyed drawing and painting, creating beautiful seascapes. Her creativity and unique perspective brought color and laughter into our lives.

Tracy cherished the outdoors and loved camping with her friends. She enjoyed visiting historic sites and was continually driven by curiosity, always striving to understand the reasons behind things. Her desire to learn and discover never waned, making every outing an adventure.

Throughout her life, Tracy held various jobs in different fields, but her proudest accomplishment was her work with Irby Engineering. She played a key role in restoring two ten-story condos that had been damaged by hurricane Ivan. Starting out as a carpenter's assistant, she quickly advanced, becoming a construction supervisor within just six months. Her determination and leadership left a lasting impact on those around her.

From childhood, Tracy faced lung problems, beginning with asthma as a child and later developing COPD, followed by cancer as an adult. Despite these challenges, she never allowed her health issues to define or limit her.

Tracy will be greatly missed by her family, and everyone whose life she has touched.

Died before is her father Elye James Keller, her mother Joan Burkett Keller, her uncle Sonny Burkett Sr, her sister Joni Burkett Keller, and her step son Rick Wilson.

Survived by her husband George Wilson (and his 5 children), her daughter Megan Wardle and Megan's fiancé Jeremiah Crabtree, her grandchildren Lilliana and Alexander, her nieces Whitney VanGorder and Mackenzie Welborn, and her great nieces and nephew Holdyn, Hayes and Delta Blake plus many other family and friends that loved her dearly.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, February 4, 2026, at Oakdale Baptist Church Cemetery in Brandon.
