Lois Willene Willson

Lois Willene Willson, born on September 6, 1951, in Tylertown, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on March 11, 2026, in Byram, Mississippi. She was 74 years old.

Lois was the beloved wife of the late Robert Willson, a Baptist preacher. Together, they shared a deep devotion to their faith and a commitment to spreading the message of Jesus Christ. Lois believed her purpose in life was to share her love for the Lord with everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on those who knew her.

She is survived by her loving children: daughter Latina Reid and her husband James, and son Michael King and his wife Carolyn. Lois also leaves behind her cherished siblings: brother Louis Morris and his wife Mary, and sister Joyce Jones. Her legacy continues through her 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Willson, as well as her parents, Lee and Willene Morris. Her unwavering faith and dedication to family will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

May Lois's memory serves as a source of comfort and inspiration to those she touched throughout her life.

A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, at Sebrell Funeral Home, Ridgeland, MS 39157, preceded by visitation at 9:00 a.m. Burial will be held later that afternoon at 12:30 p.m. at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS.
