Obituary of Trang N. Do
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Trang N. who passed peacefully while being surrounded by his loving family on August 18, 2024, at the age of 89. Born on March 15, 1935, in Can Giuoc, Vietnam, Trang was the beloved son of Van Giáp and H'ynh Th Guong, both of whom preceded him in passing.
Trang emigrated to the United States in 1985 and settled in Fairfield, Connecticut, where he lived out his remaining years. He was a devoted husband to Pauline father to Lanchi (daughter), Khoa (son), David (son), Tan Ly (son-in-law), Tiffany (daughter-in-law), and Terry (daughter-in-law). He was also a loving grandfather to Kevin, Justin, Caroline, and Isabelle.
Trang received his education at Cán S Y T School of Medicine, in Vietnam. He was a Chief Medical Officer at Gia nh before he emigrated to the United States. In the U.S. he worked at Perkin Elmers in Norwalk, CT, where he was known for his dedication and commitment. Outside of his professional life, Trang enjoyed traveling, conversing with friends, and watching basketball. His involvement in the Buddhist Temple reflected his spiritual commitment and desire to give back to the community.
Calling hours will be held in his honor on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in the Lesko Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, Fairfield, CT, 06824. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate Trang's life and legacy. All other services will be held privately.
Trang's warmth, kindness, and loving presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
