Travis Cooper was born May 30, 1931, to the late Charlie Cooper and the late Cleo McBride Cooper in the Pricetown Community (Village). He died Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Magnolia Regional Medical Center, at the age of 94. He was a hard-working man who wasn't afraid to use his hands. He used that gift for many years at Home Cabinets. May he rest in peace. He is sorely missed.

His parents and two of his children, Polly Cooper and Travis Cooper, Jr. preceded him in death.

Travis leaves cherished memories with his surviving children: Johnnie (Vivian) Cooper and Charlie Cooper, all of Texarkana; Margie Burnell of McNeil, Linda Bell of Emerson and Arnett Early, twenty grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren; two siblings: Susie Mae Randle of Magnolia and Peggy Ann Woodruff of Richardson, TX.
