Travis "Bud" W. Downs, 60, of Lakeview, OH, passed away Friday afternoon, September 5, 2025, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH.

Travis was born on June 22, 1965, in Dearborn, MI, a son of the late Susan Church Downs, and Jim Downs, who survives in Defiance, OH.

Bud is survived by his son, Coleman (Amanda) Downs of Huntsville, OH, his daughter, Carly (William White) Downs of Urbana, OH, grandson, Elliott White, the mother of his children, Penny Downs, three siblings, April Bowersox of Defiance, Cary (Daphane) Downs of California, and Brad (Dawn) Downs of Huntington, IN, and several nieces and nephews.

Bud was a 1983 graduate of Pandora-Gilboa High School. He owned and operated Downs Concessions for 36 years. He was a member of Indian Lake Moose Lodge #1533 and Greater Ohio Showmen's Association. Bud was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Chargers, and Michigan Wolverines. He was a skilled welder and fabricator, who enjoyed working on cars and trailers, riding his Harley-Davidson, and golfing. Bud loved spending time with his family and his dogs, operating his business, and having a good time.

Pastor David Holbrook will begin a celebration of Bud's life at 2:00 pm, Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview, with visitation from 1-2 pm.

Memorial contributions may be given in Bud's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, at www.stjude.org.

Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, OH. Condolences may be expressed at shoffstallfuneralhome.com.
