Dear Cheyenne River Lakota Oyate Family, please note the funeral service information for a CRST tribal member and his Tiyospaye with prayerful consideration:
Travis Dupris, age 45, of Eagle Butte, SD, entered the Spirit World on Saturday, August 26, 2023 at Eagle Butte.
Travis is survived by his two sons, Samuel Dupris of Bismarck, ND and Jacob Dupris of New Town, ND. Three daughters, Justice Dupris of Montana, Shayna Dupris and Candace Dupris of New Town, ND.
His mother, Shirley Dupris of Eagle Butte. Four brothers, Bryson Dupris, Leland Dupris, Denell Chipps, and Terrance Circle Bear of Eagle Butte. Three sisters, Gina Bruguier, Eileen Dupris and Leann Dupris of Eagle Butte.
Dear CRST Oyate Family, please note the Travis Dupris funeral change:
Due inclement weather, the Travis Dupris wake and funeral service scheduled for Tuesday, September 5 and funeral service on Wednesday, September 6, has been canceled. A funeral service only is scheduled for Thursday, 10:00 AM, September 7, at Star Nation Center at Eagle Butte. Following a luncheon, burial will take place at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery at Cherry Creek.
