Travis Lee Edwards, 47, of Kechi, KS passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025.
He was born on May 24, 1977, in Clay County Missouri, to Wilbur H. & Grace E. (Metcalfe) Edwards.
Travis attended Emporia schools, also attended & graduated Lebo High School Class of 1997.
Travis worked many years at Dustrol Inc. along side his older brother Danny. Travis joined the IBEW #304 in 2012 where he started his lineman journey with PAR Electrical, Sturgeon Electric & his most current is Capital Electric at time of his passing.
Travis found his happiest moments at the lake, surrounded by family, friends, and a cold Modelo beer in his hand. Whether tossing bags in a game of corn hole or sharing stories around the fire, his presence made every moment better. Travis had infectious smile, unforgettable giggle, unmatched ability to make anyone laugh, he brought light & joy wherever he went. Travis's deepest love was his three children, he gained four bonus children with Shana.
He is survived by his wife Shana ( Carter) Edwards, with whom he shared over decade memories & love together, their union of marriage May 12, 2018.
Of all the things he cherished in life his greatest & proudest accomplishments were his three children-who meant the world to him.

Along with his cherished bonus kids: Garret (Malaina) Latimer, Colorado. Taylor (Alex) Talley, Texas. Brooklyn & Austin Prichard, Kechi, KS.
He also leaves behind his mother, Grace Metcalfe, his older brother, Danny (Kim) Edwards, and two sisters, Michelle Ambrose and Vicki (Randy) Jesseph.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wilbur H. Edwards & sister Julie Ambrose
