Travis Freeman Obituary
Travis was born March 21, 1950 in McNairy County, TN, the son of the late Hollis Eugene Freeman and Lonnie Lucille Richardson Freeman.
He was united in marriage to Doris Marrs onAugust 23, 1997. Throughout his life, Travis exemplified a strong work ethic, owning and operating several businesses, including a furniture store in Bolivar, where he served the community for many years. His passion for life extended beyond his professional endeavors; he had a deep affection for his dogs, enjoyed fishing, and cherished the time spent with his family. Travis was known for his generous nature and had a big heart that touched the lives of many.
Mr. Freeman departed this life on December 12, 2024 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 74 Years, 8 Months, 21 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Freeman; son, Kevin Freeman and wife Stacy of Southaven, MS; stepsons, Perry Howell of Toone, TN, Robert Fincher and wife Casey of O'Fallon, MO; two sisters, Glenda Russell and husband Jimmy of Greer, SC, Pam Tyra of Pontotoc, MS; two brothers, Billy Freeman of Michie, TN, Terry Freeman of Tupelo, MS; a grandchild, Chase Freeman and wife Julie; two great grandchildren, Emily and Macy Freeman.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by two sisters, Barbara Jackson, Deborah Sue Jones; a brother, Jimmy Freeman.
