Mr. Travis Roland Gilreath, age 90, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025 in Gainesville, Georgia. He was born Friday, July 6, 1934, to the late John Thurman Gilreath and the late Fannie Davis Gilreath, in West Virginia. He was retired from Wrigley's, and was a member of the U.S. Army.
Funeral arrangements have been scheduled for Monday, June 23, 2025, at 2:00 PM, in the Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Rickey Stone and Rev. Lend Land will officiate the service. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, following the Funeral service.
Mr. Gilreath was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Vonnerine Gilreath; his sister, Patty Truelove; and his brothers, Wayne Gilreath, Marvin Gilreath, and Guy Gilreath.
He is remembered by his son, Mark Gilreath; grandsons, Justin Barrett, Trevor Barrett, and Jay Gilreath; his brother, Curtis Gilreath (Jammie); and his sisters, Bon Dyer, Evelyn Abberson, and BeBe Garrett.
