Travis Ronald Huff, 56, passed away December 10, 2025
Travis Huff will be remembered for his jovial spirit and sense of humor. He was known for his quick wit and lighthearted remarks, often offering a joke or comment that could brighten a person’s day.
Travis was married to Dawn Speece, with whom he shared more than 22 years together until his passing.
He enjoyed spending time outdoors and was an avid fisherman, finding enjoyment both on lakes and during deep-sea fishing trips. He also enjoyed rifle hunting and spending time in nature.
Travis had a passion for cooking and enjoyed preparing meals, often taking pride in adding his own personal touches. He was also a musician who played guitar and sang. He shared his musical talents at Crossfire Church, where he played for the church community.
A devoted animal lover, Travis was especially fond of his dog, Rocco, and enjoyed taking him on car rides and spending time together.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Cecilia Zapata Huff.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Dawn Speece; his father, Ronald Huff (Laurel); his children, Patrick and Chelsea Dighton, and five children (three grandsons and two granddaughters); Ashleigh Sharp, Courtney Sharp, his sisters, Jo Marie Futch (Brian) and Bertie Huff; his aunts and uncles, Kim Runk (Brad), Donnie Money , Debbie Davis; and his nieces and nephews, Grant Futch (Taylor), Alina Futch, Maritza Futch, and Cecilia Futch.
