Travis Jackson

South Jordan/Richfield, Utah - Our beloved father, son, brother and uncle, John Travis Jackson, age 43, passed away March 6, 2025, at his home in South Jordan on March 6, 2025. He was born June 16, 1981, in Murray, a son of John Dale and Theresa Marie Butcher Jackson. He grew up in West Valley City, playing football and basketball with his siblings and friends. He graduated from Central High School, Class of 1999. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and making new friends constantly.

Travis lived in Mayfield for a while and then moved to Salt Lake City where he lived for many years.

Travis enjoyed karaoke, listening and making his own music, spending time with his daughter, Salem, whom he loved with all of his heart. He loved being in the outdoors with his friends. He would do anything he could to help his family and friends.

Travis is survived by his mother, Theresa Marie McTee of Richfield; his father, John Dale Jackson of West Valley City; his daughter, Salem; and his siblings: Justin Thomas of Centerfield; Larry Thomas and Ashley Evans, both of Richfield.

Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home, 260 North 400 West in Richfield Thursday from 12:00 Noon to 1:00 P.M.

Burial will take place at a later date under the care of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield and Salina, Utah.
