Travis Allen Norman Jr., 17, of Zanesville, passed away at 5:33 P.M. on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Grant Medical Center. He was born August 7, 2008, in Zanesville, the son of Travis and Kimberly (Joyce) Norman Sr. Travis was a junior attending Maysville High School where he was enrolled in the Pathways Engineering program and participating in a mentorship with Miba LLC. Travis was also attending Zane State College through their College Credit Plus Program.
Travis enjoyed gaming, F1 racing, horseback riding and boating at Buckeye Lake. More than anything he loved spending time with his family, his girlfriend and friends. Travis had the kindest big brown eyes and his smile lit up every room. He was an amazing son with a bright future ahead of him. His birth changed the life of his parents and he will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
In addition to his parents, Travis is survived by his twin brother and sister Mason and McKenna Norman and his older sister Destiny Wallace; maternal grandparents Tony and Sue Joyce; maternal aunt Misty (Royce) Workman; paternal uncles, Mark Gobel, Eric “Pete” Tom and Robert Norman; paternal aunt, Darla Tom; cousins, Lauren, Carter, Kaitlyn, Emily, Nathan, Cylinda, LaToshia, Jaydon, Da’marius and Isabella, several second cousins, his girlfriend Chesney Gibson, who he deeply cherished; and the many friends he leaves behind.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Raymond Norman and Cindy Edwards; and maternal aunt, Amy Jo Joyce.
Friends and family may call from 2:00 - 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at the BOLIN-DIERKES FUNERAL HOME, 1271 BLUE AVENUE, ZANESVILLE and from 11:00 A.M. until time of funeral service starting at 12:00 NOON, Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Wings of Hope Tabernacle, 709 Lee Street, Zanesville, Ohio, with Rev. James E. Workman Jr. officiating. Travis will be laid to rest at Williams Cemetery, Zanesville.
