Travis Jon Paradis, 59, of Enfield, entered into his eternal rest on Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born December 1, 1964, in Hartford, son of Rene "Junior" Paradis, Jr and Jane (Gorman) Paradis. Following his passion for cars he attended Porter & Chester Institute where he obtained his automotive mechanics license. He then worked as a Transmission Specialist for AAMCO Transmissions, in West Springfield, MA.
During life's struggles, Travis was able to find moments of happiness listening to and attending Country, Rock, Blues and Jazz Festivals throughout his life with family and friends. He also loved attending classic car shows, fishing and boating with his uncle Paul and brothers on the Finger and Great Lakes in upstate New York. Most of all he enjoyed time with his three children and hanging out with his close family and friends, having a good old time.
Travis is survived by his three children, a son Travis Worthington of Stafford Springs, and two daughters Susan Parker of Enfield and Trisha Worthington of Stafford Springs, his four beloved grandchildren Seth, June, Olivia and Gunner, his mother Jane (Gorman) Paradis, two brothers Erik Paradis, Jerrold Paradis and a sister Michelle Paradis all of Enfield. He is also survived by his two nephews Matthew Paradis and his children Adrianna and Tristan, and Jacob Paradis all of Enfield. Predeceased by his father Rene "Junior" Paradis, Jr and brother Rene "Sonny" Paradis, III.
Relatives and friends may gather with his family from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Friday (September 27, 2024) at Browne Memorial Chapels 43 Shaker Rd. Enfield, CT and for a grave side memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at Somers West Cemetery, Main St. Somers, CT.
