Travis "Trav" passed away on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at East Alabama Medical Center after a battle with prostate cancer and the debilitating effects of chemotherapy. He was born May 2, 1965, in Birmingham, Alabama to Travis Jordan Tindal, Sr. and Rosalyn Willis Tindal. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Joy Tindal; mother, Rosalyn Willis Tindal; sons, Travis Jordan Tindal, III; Connor Larry (Caitlynn) Ray; sister-in-law, Jeri Tindal; brother, Lee (Michelle) Tindal; nephews, Matthew Tindal, Justin (Rose) Tindal; niece, Miranda Tindal and fur babies, Milo, Honey, Brantley, and Loki Tindal. He was preceded in death by his father, Travis Tindal Sr. (Grandman) and brother, Mark Eugene Tindal. Trav loved his family, friends, and co-workers dearly throughout the years and was deeply loved by many in return. He was a selfless, giving, compassionate soul- always generous, caring, and loving toward everyone he encountered. He always tried to help people, and offered anything he had to give. His laughter was contagious and never failed to bring an answering smile to those around him. Trav loved his wife dearly and his children endlessly, and he was very proud of his sons and the men they have become. The family would like to say a special thank you to the doctors, nurses, and staff of East Alabama Medical Center and Spencer Cancer Center for taking such wonderful care of Trav during his final days. A celebration of Trav's life will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Alexander City. The family will receive visitors from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. and the service will be held at 11:00 a.m. No graveside service will be held. The family will spread Trav's ashes in places that brought him joy here on earth. Radney Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Travis Jordan Tindal, Jr.
