Travis Valiquette Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Best Funeral Services Peoria on Mar. 5, 2026.
Travis William Valliquette, born March 10, 1974, passed away on February 27, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories and a circle of people who were better for having known him.

Travis was the beloved son of Arthur Earle and Anne Patten and grew up surrounded by family, friendship, and the everyday moments that helped shape his generous and outgoing spirit.

He is survived by his brother, Lance W.; Lance's wife, Jessica; and their children, Claire and Breanne, all of whom held a special place in his life. Travis also shared a deep and lasting bond with his wife and high school sweetheart, Sheryl Leilani Kacho, a relationship built on loyalty, companionship, and enduring love.

Travis loved sports in nearly every form, both playing and watching, but he was especially a devoted fan of the Seattle Seahawks. He followed the team with enthusiasm and rarely missed the chance to cheer them on.

He enjoyed the freedom of the open road and spent many happy hours riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He also loved traveling to Puerto Peñasco (Rocky Point), where he enjoyed the ocean, good company, and time away from everyday routines.

Known for having many friends, Travis enjoyed social gatherings, barhopping, and sharing laughter. He was an exceptional pool player and remained active in sports throughout his life. Above all, he was someone who genuinely loved helping others and brought warmth and energy wherever he went.

Travis will be remembered for his kindness, his friendships, his adventurous spirit, and the lasting impact he made on those fortunate enough to know him.
