Travis Vasquez Obituary
Born in Perth Amboy, Travis was a lifelong resident of Carteret and a graduate of Carteret High School where he excelled in multiple sports including baseball, football and basketball. He was a gentle and grateful soul who will always be remembered as the life of the party, always sliding jokes into any conversation, making people laugh. His heart of gold will be cherished by his loving family.
Travis was predeceased by his mother, Joann Caton. Surviving are his father, Roberto Vazquez, Sr.; siblings, Robert Vasquez, Jr. with his wife Blanca Gomez Vasquez and Amanda Vasquez; his "honorary sons," Sean, Joel and Jordan along with his aunts, uncles, cousins, niece, Aubrey Vasquez and nephews, Jared Nelan and Jordan Rios.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2026 from 4pm to 8pm at Chubenko Funeral Home, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading. Private cremation will follow.
