On the afternoon of August 1st, 2022, Myron and Sheila Woody, Chelsey Woody Miller, and Caleb Woody left this world of trouble and sorrow; and entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior in whom they faithfully served. They were residents of the Green Mountain community and were faithful members of Blue Rock Baptist Church.
Caleb Woody, age 24 of Green Mountain, went home to be with the lord on August 1st, 2022, at his home. He was preceded in death his paternal grandparents, Franklin and Betty (Juanita) Alley Woody and maternal grandmother, Florence Fox McCurry; great uncles: Floyd Fox, Sylvest Fox and Paul Fox; great aunts: Evaleen Black, Ethal Evans, and Ruth Wilson.
Devoted son of Myron and Sheila Woody, Caleb loved the Lord. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed hunting and hiking. Caleb was always willing to help others and lend a hand with outdoor projects. He was also a loving and dedicated brother to his older sister, Chelsey.
Left to cherish his memory is his grandfather, Travis McCurry; aunts: Kathy (Jason) Wheeler, Debbie (Russell) Greer; uncles: Mike (Belinda) Woody and Joey (Beverly) Woody; great aunts: Annette Bailey, Mattie (Gene) Berry, and Grace Dellinger; great uncles: Carl (Ruby) Fox, and Edison (Flossie) Fox; cousins: Sabrina (Dalton) Cooper, Linda (Josh) Hudgins, Jessica (Michael) Taylor, Caden Wheeler, and William (Lisa) Woody; and brother in law, Justin Miller.
