Trent Gentry Obituary
Mr. Trent Gentry, age 30, of Chapel Hill, Tennessee, died Saturday, May 18, 2024. Trent worked as a landscaper and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed sports and loved his time playing different sports at Forrest High School in Chapel Hill. He had a BIG heart and cared very much about his family and many friends.
Trent is survived by his son, Ryder Gentry, Lewisburg, TN; mother, Trina Whaley, Columbia, TN; father, Tony Gentry, Chapel Hill, TN; brothers, Zach (Mary) Gentry, Brentwood, TN, Trevor (Kimberly) Gentry, Smyrna, TN; grandparents, Connie Howard (David Ray), Belfast, TN, Lewis Howard, Chapel Hill, TN, Mary Hicks, Chapel Hill, TN; nephew, Ward Gentry, Brentwood, TN; step-sisters, Cortney Perry and Chelsea Erdman; and his many, many friends.
Trent was also preceded in death by a son, David Gower Gentry; grandparents, Doug Gentry, Jerry Hicks and special friend, Jean Chrisman.
Family members will receive friends on Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service for Trent will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday evening from the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Trent’s son, Grayson Ryder Gentry at any First Commerce Bank.
