Treste' Irene Loving was born the lovely daughter of the late Elnora Loving on August 29, 1962, in Clinton, KY. On Monday, November 25, 2024, she departed this earthly life in Morristown, VT, and smiled upon the face of her Lord and Savior and reunited with her mom and her many other family members who were awaiting her arrival. At the time of her Heavenly Transition her journey here on earth had been blessed travelling for 62 years, 2 months and 26 days.
Treste', as a young girl was determined to grown up into womanhood and make a good life for herself. She was a natural at learning and absorbed knowledge and skills each and every day. She attended the Carlisle County School System and graduated in 1980. While in school she played both basketball and was Carlisle County's first African American Cheerleader. She also attended the Owensboro School of Business and majored in business administration. Instead of going into business right off, she decided that her time would be better spent in the military and joined the US Navy in 1982. Her love for the service and the desire to work her way up in the ranks took her to retire in 2008 as Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Treste' Irene Loving. While in the service she had the pleasure of serving in Iceland, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Treste' developed and implemented her own life of serving the military as well as the general public at large. Treste' studied at Strayer University with the Class of 2008 and also Studied at the Thrive Academy. In February 2009, Treste' became Founder & CEO of her own business, the Institute for Racial Equality. This new adventure led her to coach business owners, entrepreneurs, and key executives how to increase their productivity within their organizations by optimizing the diverse skills and talents of their current employees. Working with her and her team, those who chose her received benefits such as increased productivity from employee motivation, proactive organizational practices, strategic plans to emphasizing their organization's Unique Talents, and how to deal with conflict resolutions in the workplace. She also reviewed simple innovations specializing in organizational managerial skills, and diversity program customs designed to streamline their organizations.
Treste' is survived by Her Husband, Scott A. Wooster of Morristown, VT; "Big Brother- Cousin", Mahlon Thomas of Bardwell, KY; Two Aunts, Imogene Hall of Milwaukee, WI and Grace Loving of Rockford, IL; Her Aunt's and Uncle's Children, Ellen (Walt) Torbert of Garland, TX, Roger Baulckim of Paducah, KY, Theresa (Garland) Edwards and Andrea (Paul) Flowers, both of Toledo, OH, Cynthia Hall, Gwendolyn Hall, Jermaine Hall, Bianca Smith, James Loving, Jr. of Rockford, IL, and Johnathan Loving of Minneapolis, MN; Many More Cousins and other Family Members, Her Mother and Father-In-Law, Robert and Donna Wooster of Shelburne, VT; Her Sister-In-Law, Carrie (Steve) Savoy of South Burlington, VT; and a Vast Amount of Friends including her Military Colleagues.
She was preceded in death by Her Mother, Elnora Marie Loving, Her Maternal Grandparents, Edward Loving and Irene Martin Loving; Three Aunts, Katie Loving, Betty Bradford, and Christine Stokes; One Uncle, James E. Loving; Several Great Aunts and Uncles, her brother-in-law, James "Jimmy" Wooster, and many cousins.
Treste' Irene Loving left vivid and remarkable impressions in life and will be remembered for her desire to serve humanity.
Funeral Services have been scheduled for Thursday, December 5, 2024, 1:00 PM, at Bardwell Christian Church, US HWY 51 S in Bardwell, KY with Reverend Wendell D. Gray officiating.
Friends may call on the family at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour.
Burial with Military Honors will follow in Allcock Cemetery in Bardwell.
The service will be livestreamed on Pettus-Rowland Funeral Home, LLC Facebook Page beginning at 12:50 PM (CST).
