Trevelyn Lindley Sawyer passed away peacefully on the morning of December 1, 2025, ending her remarkable 90 year journey on earth.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 3, at Murphree Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Scott’s Funeral Home prior to the service.
Trevelyn was born in 1935 to Roy and Finis Lindley. She lived in Dublin, Texas until her family moved to Fort Worth where she attended school and graduated from Arlington Heights High School in 1953. On November 21, 1953, she married the love of her life, Paul Sawyer, and they shared 56 wonderful years until his passing in 2011.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her sister, Janelle Benton.
Trevelyn is survived by her daughters, Pam Bone and husband, Phil, Michelle Tambascio and husband, John, and her precious granddaughter, Hannah Tambascio. She was the much loved Trev to Cindy Bone, Micah, Jaxon, and Kayden Bone, Kendall and Josh Hamel, Laynie, Rebekah, and Jolie Hamil, Jordan Bone and Damian Gibson, Chad Bone, her nieces Beverly Benton and Brandy Benton, and her brother-in-law, Jim Benton.
Her family wishes to extend their gratitude for the exceptional care she received at the Meadows and Coryell Memorial Health.
