Trevor Allen Jenkins of North Little Rock went home to be with his Lord and Savior January 4, 2023.
He was born June 8, 1987. Trevor attended North Little Rock School District and served in the Navy. He had just started his own business, Trevor's Handyman Services.
Trevor was an avid hunter and loved being in the outdoors. He never met a stranger, and his heart was huge and full of room to provide tenderness to others. His spirit was fun-filled, contagious and adventurous. His absence on earth leaves a hole to fill for many.
Trevor is survived by his loving wife, Cammy Jenkins and children, Parker, Madelyn, Charley Faye, and River.
He leaves behind his parents, Melissa Fowler, Mark Jenkins Sr. (Tiffany), Paul Fowler (Rika); and grandparents, Allen and Kaye Jenkins.
Trevor is also survived by his brothers, Mark “Scooter” Jenkins Jr. (Courtney and nephew Townsend), Dillon Jenkins; sisters, Anna Pursley (Michael and nephew Haysen), Katie Jenkins, Paula Vasquez (niece Faith Hurtado, nephew Nicholas Vasquez); sisters-in-law, Natalie Burks (Andrew and niece Harper), Stephanie Grunwald (Jason, niece Janessa and nephew Alexander), Ashley Weatherly (Drey); and nephew, Connor Laws.
He is also survived by his Aunt Freida Short, Uncle Charlie Jenkins, Uncle Herbert Newman (Joan), Aunt Jennifer Wallace (Carter), Uncle Steve Jenkins (Julie); and cousins, Jessica Devore (Barry), Katherine Grant (Gary), John Allen Jenkins (Elizabeth), Hunter Wallace, Hayes Wallace, Joey Newman, Sarah Newman and Cherish Newman; and in-laws, Charles Hoskyn (Margaret), Jim Mosley (Karen) and many more extended family and friends.
Trevor’s favorite bible verse was written in a letter he wrote to his cousin Jessica, Philippians, Chapter 3, verses 13-14, “Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
A limb has fallen from the family tree that says, Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the songs, and the good life I lived. We love you Trevor and we know you are home now, safe in the arms of your heavenly father.
Visitation will be from 6:00PM-8:00PM Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home (1921 Main Street). Funeral service will be at 11:30AM Friday, January 13, 2023 at Park Hill Baptist Church with burial following at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
