Trevor Mackey

Trevor “Bo Bo” Gates Mackey, 35, of Owensboro, passed away unexpectedly on January 13th, 2026. Trevor was a loving and devoted father to his son, Julian, who meant the world to him. He was a skilled and dedicated painter and took great pride in his career. Trevor enjoyed fishing, muscle cars and cherished spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his big heart, contagious smile and the deep love he had for those closest to him.

Trevor is survived by his mother, Stephanie (Steve) Tong; father, Lonnie (Janetta) Mackey; son, Julian Gates Mackey; siblings, Katelyn Mackey, Blake (Bre) Mackey, and Jessica Statts; grandparents, Georgetta “Nana” Holder, Dan and Lydia Griffin; nieces and nephews, Hunter Mackey, Brylee Mackey, Ansley Mackey, Oliver Nelson, Jack Boyken, Liam Moorman, Lincoln Moorman, and Levi Moorman, along with other extended family, including aunt, Rhonda Baggett and several aunts and cousins.

The funeral service will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory, where visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Burial is private.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
