With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Trey Don Hunt, (19) of Nixa, MO, who passed away on June 5, 2025. Trey was born on May 8, 2006 in Springfield, Missouri.
Trey was a student at OTC and Nixa S.C.O.R.E. High School. Trey loved table tennis and played it often and was scheduled to play in a tournament prior to his passing. Trey was an avid gamer and well known to telling Jokes. Trey touched many lives with his good nature and sense of humor.
He is survived by his loving family; his parents, Al and Jeanie Hunt of the home; a sister Sarah Richards of Kansas City, Missouri; four brothers, Scott (Angela) Hunt of Billings, Missouri, Brandon Hunt of Springfield, Missouri, Jacob (Megan) Hunt of San Diego, California, and Wyatt hunt of Lee's Summit, Missouri. Trey is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving relatives and friends along with his pets Roxie, Scout, and Poppy. He would have had a pet snake if he were allowed.
He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Until we meet again Trey.
A celebration of life will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, Missouri with Rev. Fred Pugh officiating. Cremation rite will be accorded to Adams Crematory.
