Tri Nguyen Obituary
Tri Minh Nguyen, 58, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2024 at his home in Greenbush, VA, with his family and close friends gathered at his side.
Born September 3, 1965 in Vietnam, he was the son of An and Hang Nguyen. In addition to his parents, Tri is survived by his wife, Dung; his son, Hung; his daughter, Truc Nguyen; siblings, Trung Le, Trung Nghia, Mai Huong, Trung Tin, Dieu Huyen, and Trung Thanh.
As one of the most successful growers for Tyson Foods since 2019, Tri was a leader among the Vietnamese community on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Always willing to share his experiences and expertise to help other farmers achieve their goals, Tri's generosity was a great blessing to many. He became a role model for all Vietnamese farmers throughout the Eastern Shore community, and he leaves a legacy that will be honored and preserved by his family and all who knew and learned from him.
A visitation will be held at the Williams-Onancock Funeral Home on Friday, July 5, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., with two Masses immediately following. Visitation will also be held at the funeral home on Saturday, July 6, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., followed by a funeral Mass at 2:00 p.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, in Onley, VA.
