Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Shelby Barton Bates; his children, Jett Bates and  Adaline Rose Bates (who will make her arrival next month); parents, Troy and Bonnie Bates; brother, Kameron Bates; bonus brother and sister, John Palmer and Autumn Beckley; grandmother, Melva "Pesty" Evans; father and mother-in-law, Randy and Amy Barton; brother-in-law, Tanner Barton; sister-in-laws, Alexis Barton and Madison Barton; uncles, Robby Randall and Chris Bates; aunt, Kim Nugent (Dana); as well as a host of family and friends.
