Troy L. Mondeau, of Fall River, passed away on November 5, 2025, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, at the age of fifty-three.
Born in Brockton on August 3, 1972, Troy was the beloved son of the late Roy Henry and Brenda Lee (Thomas) Mondeau. He grew up in West Bridgewater and was a graduate of West Bridgewater High School.
Following graduation, Troy proudly enlisted in the United States Navy, where he honorably served his country for twenty years. Throughout his distinguished career, he held several specialized positions, including Tactical Air Controller, Global Command and Control System Common Picture Maritime Operator, AEGIS Console Operator, and Instructor. His dedication and service were recognized with numerous medals and commendations, including the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, Good Conduct Award, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Armed Forces Service Medal.
After his military career, Troy transitioned to the automobile industry, where he worked in sales and management at several dealerships. Most recently, he served as Commercial Truck Manager at Grieco Ford in Raynham. Known for his strong work ethic and determination, Troy dedicated many hours to his career.
Outside of work, Troy cherished spending time with friends and enjoyed golfing and attending concerts. He loved cooking, grilling, and watching his favorite college football teams, the United States Naval Academy and Alabama Crimson Tide. He also developed a love for the beach.
Troy was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Brenda Mondeau, and his sister, Tracy Belmore. He is survived by his fiancée, Teresa Holmes of Bridgewater; his sons, Christian Mondeau and his wife Hayley of Hawaii, and Andrew Mondeau of Wisconsin, and their mother, Cora Lea Rocha; his sisters, Loralee Cosgrove and her husband Patrick of East Bridgewater, and Jodi Smith and her husband Scott of Kingston; his aunt Sandra Brown of East Bridgewater; and several nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A private graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2 pm to 6 pm at the Commercial Club, 1 Neilson Ave., East Bridgewater.
