Wanda "Jane" Warmack, 75, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, November 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving friends and family. She was the devoted wife of Leon Rabidou and the daughter of the late Edward Oswald "E.O." and Wanda Lucille (Stoker) Warmack.
Born on July 27, 1950, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jane graduated cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Rhodes College, Memphis, TN. She received a Master's degree in Sociology from Brown University in Providence, RI, and later earned her law degree from Louisiana State University. She practiced law in New Orleans for 13 years before moving to Massachusetts, where she served as an attorney for the Christian Science Church in Boston for almost 20 years. She then helped form the Christian Science provider network and served at its CEO.
Jane was known for her extraordinary work ethic, her desire to do what was right, and her unwavering kindness. She never spoke an unkind word about anyone. Humble, strong, light-hearted, intelligent, and generous, she touched the lives of all who knew her.
After meeting her beloved husband Leon, Jane discovered a passion for sailing, and the two spent many joyful days on the waters off Pocasset, Massachusetts. She cherished all aspects of her life-her lifelong friendships formed in Girl Scouts, and her love of Cajun and zydeco music. Wherever she went, Jane carried the spirit and warmth of New Orleans with her.
She is survived by her husband, Leon Robidou of Plymouth; her brother, Edward Warmack of Baton Rouge, LA; her sister, Vanna Warmack of Baton Rouge, LA; and her dear friends Karen McCoy, Judy Fletcher, John Royes, and Shelley Schubach.
A service in celebration of Jane's life will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Cartmell–Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Road, Plymouth (Manomet). An audio/livestream of the service will begin at 3:30PM online by clicking on the TRIBUTE WALL and then Play.
