With deep sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Michael R. Impagliazzo of Johnston, Rhode Island, on February 6, 2026, at the age of 88. He was the devoted son of the late Joseph and Rose (Mastronardi) Impagliazzo.
Michael attended Brown University for one year before leaving to join his parents in running the family business, Josef Creations, Inc, founded by his father. Shortly after the passing of his father, he became President of the company, a role he proudly held for 54 years.
He was married to Deborah, with whom he shared 53 beautiful years of marriage. Together, they enjoyed entertaining, traveling, golfing, and spending time with their animals, family, and friends.
Michael had a deep love for music and played the saxophone as a member of the Bob Michael Melotones. He also enjoyed making homemade pizza and espresso martinis, and coaching and enthusiastically watching sports, especially those involving his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his children, Joseph (Wendy) and Cheryl, his three cherished grandchildren, Ashley (Matt) Jackson, Michael (Cassie) Impagliazzo, and Matthew Gerardi; and his three adored great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Rosemarie (Impagliazzo) Russo, and his three nephews, Anthony, William and Domenic.
