Muncie – Trudie K. Henry, 68, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Muncie on January 25, 1957, the daughter of General Ross and Janice (McGahey) Herron and attended Muncie Community Schools.
Trudie retired from Meijer Supermarkets after several years of service. She had also worked at Pizza King, DIY and several other grocery stores.
She enjoyed roller-skating in her younger years, along with spending quality time with family, especially at holidays. Trudie also enjoyed cooking and running Granny's Taxi Service. Trudie's greatest joy was always being there for others.
Survivors include her children, Cecilia Henry (Dennis "Pee-Wee" Smith), Terry Henry Jr. (Jill) and Darlene Spradlin (Steve); her grandchildren, Andrea, Kendal, Gracie and Cody; great-grandchildren, Arayah, Leonis and one more on the way; her sisters, Terasa Prairie (Doug) and Kerri Mendoza (Frank); also surviving are several other extended family members.
Trudie was preceded in death by her long-time companion, Terry Henry Sr.; a brother, Keith Guffey; and her parents.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
Family and friends may call from 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the mortuary.
