Trudy Lynn Shea

Trudy Lynn Shea, age 80, of Knoxville, TN, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Tennessee where she achieved Summa cum laude. She later retired from the Tennessee Valley Authority. In her spare time, Trudy loved to travel, spend time in her garden or sometimes to just read a good book surrounded by her pets. Trudy is preceded in death by her grandson, John Matthew Briddle. She is survived by her husband, Peter; son, Michael Cole; daughter, Susan Shoffner; grandchildren, Katie Shoffner, Brandon Cole, Jake Shoffner and Kyle Cole. A graveside service at Seven Islands Cemetery will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Young-Williams Animal Center.
