Brenda Lynn DeArmond

Brenda DeArmond, 60, of Knoxville, died unexpectedly Sunday, November 9, 2025. Brenda devoted her time and energy to creating a peaceful and comfortable home for her family, one filled with warmth and love. She was also an accomplished artist, producing beautiful pottery and handwoven basketry, and especially enjoyed presenting demonstrations at the Great Smoky Mountains Heritage Center in Townsend, TN. In her own gentle way, she made this world a better place. She is survived by her husband of forty years, Phillip, and son, Drake. She also leaves behind her mother, Eva Volna Bishop White; brother, Tim Bishop (Debbie), both of Candler, NC; uncle William Childress (Vicki); niece, Brittany Drake (Dakota); nephew, Cory Bishop; several great nieces and nephews, and innumerable friends, all of whom she loved beyond measure. A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Sunday, November 23, at West Towne Christian Church, Knoxville.
