Barbara Workman DeArmond, 92, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2025.

She was born on June 23, 1933, in Elkton, Virginia, to the late Harold Alexander Workman and Helen Frazee Workman. Barbara lived a life of devotion to her family and of service to others. She volunteered for many years at Good News at Noon in Gainesville, where she faithfully served those in need. She was known for her kindness, generosity, and strong faith. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening and landscaping, and took great joy in creating beautiful spaces around her home. Her love for animals was evident, as she always cared for cats, dogs, and horses throughout her life. Her bright spirit, beautiful smile, and unwavering dedication to helping others will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
