Truen Taylor Baggish, 19 months old, of Lakeland, Florida, passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his parents after a courageous battle with cancer on November 2nd. Though his time with us was brief, Truen's radiant smile, joyful laughter, and extraordinary strength touched hearts across the world and left an everlasting impact on all who knew his story.
Born to Nicole Murphy and Daniel Baggish, Truen was a beloved son, grandson, nephew, cousin and cherished brother to Rosalie Broullon, Kolton Broullon, Ava Austin, Greyson Baggish, Jordan Baggish, and Kaydance Waters. His family will forever remember him as their bright light - a source of endless love, joy, and inspiration.
Truen's love for music was evident from the start. He found happiness in dancing, singing, and playing any instrument within reach. Even during his treatments, he brought laughter and comfort to those around him, teaching everyone who met him the true meaning of courage, resilience, and joy.
Although his time on earth was short, Truen's spirit continues to inspire kindness, hope, and compassion. His life serves as a beautiful reminder of the power of love and the profound effect one small child can have on the world -a legacy far beyond his years.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, November 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Gentry-Morrison Funeral Homes – Serenity Gardens Chapel, 3350 Mall Hill Drive, Lakeland, Florida 33810, with a Celebration of Life to follow at Union Hall. Family and friends are invited to attend and honor Truen's memory
