Trula Odell Parrott Tucker, age 94, of Brentwood, TN died peacefully at home on Sunday, September 21, 2025. The family takes great comfort in our faith and knowing that she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, where she will live for eternity in His presence. She is survived by her daughter, Melinda Tucker Nathan (Larry) of Brentwood, TN and two beloved grandsons, William Blair Nathan (Heather) of Dickson, TN and Marshall Andrew Nathan, of Nashville, TN. She also leaves behind two great-granddaughters, Aleena Dawn Nathan and Kaylee Jade Nathan.

Trula was born on November 14, 1930, in Frankston, TX to parents Wendell Parrott and Roxie Othelia Corley. She was married to William Thomas Tucker in 1947 who proceeded her in death.

Trula retired from the United States Department of the Treasury in February 1997 after 32 years of service and a proud recipient of the Albert Gallatin Award. She was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection where she worked as their secretary, taught Bible Study, was a member of the Vestry and served with others providing breakfast for the congregation monthly.

Trula loved going to the beach, was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking, canning, sewing and crocheting. She especially loved teaching and sharing her faith.

In accordance with Trula's wishes, the family will forgo formal funeral services and hold a private Celebration of Life at a later date.

In memorandum, the family suggests donations of your time and love to your own church family and loved ones.
