Cremation Arrangements are under the care and direction of Memorial Chapels and Crematory of Waynesville/St. Robert.
He is survived by his three children, Joseph "J.D." McCarthy (Stacey) of St. Robert, MO, Karen Denton (Brad) of Wasilla, AK, and Keith McCarthy (Lauren) of Valdosta, GA; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren; five siblings, Kathy McCarthy, Jean McCarthy, Joe McCarthy and Joan McCarthy, all of Hudson MA, and Bill McCarthy of the State of AL; a number of nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
He was born and raised in MA. He entered the United States Air Force and served his country faithfully until his retirement in 1990. He later worked at Fort Leonard Wood in the PX for 24 years. In his spare time he enjoyed NASCAR.
We celebrate his life and know that his family and friends will hold tight to the wonderful memories he created for them during his life.
