Our sweet boy, Turner Andrew Lott Miles, left us far too soon on October 18, 2025. Though only 26 at the time of his passing, he left behind a legacy of love large enough to fill a lifetime.
Turner had a deep passion for fishing and hunting, and an even deeper love for his dog, Bear. Most evenings, he could be found in his parents’ backyard, happily throwing a tennis ball for his loyal companion. He graduated from Lakeland Christian School and played football while attending Samford University. Turner was a devoted son, a man of strong faith, a caring brother, and an incredible uncle whose laughter and kindness brightened every room.
He will be deeply missed by his parents, Shannon and Jeff Miles; his brother, Ryan Miles; his sisters, Cayley, Courtney, and Cathryn Miles; his grandmothers, Sandra Robinson and Jean Turner; his brother-in-law, Jed Holloway; his adoring nieces, Noa and Rainey Holloway; and many beloved friends who became family. His Papa, Harry Louis “Penny” Robinson; grandfathers, Lee Turner and Herbert Miles; and grandmother, Winnie Miles, will be holding him close for us in heaven until we see him again.
There will be a viewing at Heath Funeral Home on Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm. A celebration of Turner’s life will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, October 24,2025, at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Lakeland, Florida. Family and friends are invited to join us immediately following the service at the Lakeland Country Club to share stories and hugs.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ducks Unlimited in Turner’s honor at Ducks.org/florida. Line-X, Turner’s business, will be hosting a table this year at Ducks Unlimited’s annual banquet, which his friends will manage in his place.
Memorial donations can also be made directly to Trinity Church at trinitylakeland.org, where Turner worshipped.
