Ty'Meria I'Jahnae "Ty Swook" Nelson

Ty'Meria I'Jahnae Nelson was born on September 30, 2005, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, bringing with her a warmth that would soon be felt by everyone she met. She was a light in the lives of those who knew and loved her. On March 26, 2025, that light left this world, but its glow will never fade from our hearts and minds.
Ty'Meria was the beloved daughter of Teoni Weathers and William Nelson, the best friend and sister to Dah'Mya Weakley, Wynekia Nelson, Brianna Giddens, and Harmony Nelson. Her brothers, Ky'Riq Weathers and Tyler Scarborough, truly treasured her. Ty'Meria adored her nieces, Skylar Weathers, Ni'Yani Reid, Ni'Ayla Reid, La'Nova Nelson, and Bre'Nasia Ames, always showering them with love and leaving them with joyous memories of their time together.
A 2023 graduate of Rancocas Valley High School in Mount Holly, Ty'Meria recently accomplished a proud milestone by completing the Dental Assisting Program at Wor-Wic Community College on March 14, 2025. She had a clear vision for her future and was determined to create a path of success for herself.
Ty'Meria's greatest gift wasn't just what she did, it was who she was. She had an infectious spirit, a laugh that could lift even the heaviest of hearts, and a way of making everyone feel special. Ty'Meria now joins her beloved grandmother, Carol D. Weathers, in eternal peace. She will be deeply missed by her grandmother, Trishan. She leaves behind a special friend, Subuwr Knox; along with aunts, Denise Reid, Katonya Weathers, Preshell Nelson, and Rosetta Brown and uncles, James Nelson and Winston Miller. Tymeria has a host of cousins and friends who loved her deeply. Her family will forever cherish the time they had with her.
Though she now rests in God's eternal peace, Ty'Meria's kindness, laughter, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. We find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and that memories of her will always be with us.
