Tyler J. Gaines, age 44, passed away at CHI Health Mercy Hospital on February 26, 2025.
He was born June 6, 1980, in Atlantic, IA. Tyler was a steamfitter with Local 464.
Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Harry Gaines III, and his grandparents.
Tyler is survived by his children, Austin Gaines, Lucas (Desi) Gaines, Aiden Gaines, and Lacey Gaines; mother, Pam Jepperson; significant other, Nanette Rhodes and her children, Kaylee Rhodes and Dustin Schoening; siblings, Nicole (Greg) Holmquist, Zach (Ellie) Jepperson, Tanner (Alycia) Jepperson, Jon (Jessica) Gaines and Rachel Gaines; a host of other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 04, 2025. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM at Hoy Kilnoski Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Interment is in Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
