Tyler J. Powell

Tyler Powell age 27 of Cedar Springs, Michigan passed away May 4, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife, Caitlin Powell and cherished son, Ben Powell. Tyler was born to proud parents, Kelly and Hilary Powell. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Jack Powell and Ben Wierks. Tyler leaves behind a devoted family, including his parents, Kelly and Hilary Powell; father and mother-in-law, Steven and Diana McClurken; sister-in-law, Elizabeth McClurken; grandmothers, Sharon Wierks and Kerry Peeples; grandfather, Richard Shinew Jr; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Tyler's passion for animals was evident in his daily life, caring for them with unwavering dedication. His dream was to create a sanctuary for bears, a place of refuge where he and Caitlin could retire surrounded by their beloved animals. He kept God at the center of his marriage, and his faith guided his actions daily. "Simple man saved by grace" was how he described his life. Throughout his social media journey, Tyler's desire was for others to see God woven into every aspect of his life. His impact on the community was profound, and his legacy will continue to flourish in the hearts of those he touched.
