Tyler Stephen Schwer

Tyler Stephen Schwer, age 35, of Edwardsville, IL, passed away at his residence on Monday, September 22, 2025. Tyler was born in Merrillville, IN, on December 18, 1989, the son of his father Evan Schwer, of Glen Carbon, IL and his mother, Adele (Minner) Walker and her husband, Carl, of Litchfield, IL. Besides his parents, Tyler is survived by a son, Kaden Slemmer, of Florida; two sisters, Emily Schwer, of Alton, IL, and Melanie Molina & husband Everton, of Granite City, IL; two nieces, Leighton Bigler, and Addison Carnduff; a nephew, Axel McEuen; his grandmother, Kathryn Schwer; and numerous cousins, aunts, & uncles. Tyler was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister, Molly Anne Schwer. Tyler will be cremated according to his wishes and be interred with his sister at Saint John-Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond, IN. A Celebration of Life for Tyler will be held on October 3, 2025, 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at The Studio in Glen Carbon, IL. We welcome all family and friends to share memories and honor a beautiful life.
