Obituary of Tyler Michael Zamora
Tyler Michael Zamora Devoted Son, Brother, Grandson, Uncle, Friend, and Teacher, passed away suddenly at the age of 37, on Monday, May 9, 2022, in Mountain Home. Arrangements are under the care of Rost Funeral Home, Mountain Home. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022, at 10 AM at the Hacker Middle School Gymnasium in Mountain Home. Tyler had a big love of sports; we would love to see your favorite sports team jersey or attire.
Tyler was born February 4, 1985, in Pocatello, Idaho to Rick and Penny Zamora. Tyler spent his younger years growing up in Pocatello, Idaho, El Paso, Texas and finally settling in Mountain Home. He went through grade school and High School in Mountain Home. Tyler excelled in many sports including basketball, football, and track throughout school and graduated Mountain Home High School in 2003.
Tyler was a very likeable guy and developed many lasting friendships over the years. After high school Tyler attended College of Southern Idaho and received his Associates Degree in Welding and Diesel Mechanics in 2005, he also received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education in 2012 from Boise State University. He then continued on to receive a Master's degree in Educational Leadership in 2017 from University of Idaho. After completing his degree in education, Tyler held several teaching positions throughout Idaho including teaching 5 th grade at Shadow Butte Elementary in Emmett, ID as well as at Hacker Middle School in Mountain Home. At the time of his passing, he was teaching in his dream job as a Special Education teacher at North Elementary School. Tyler loved his job, his coworkers, and all of his students and will be greatly missed by all. During Tyler's free time he enjoyed coaching football, fishing, camping, snowboarding, traveling, and spending time making memories with his family and friends.
Tyler was preceded in death by his mother Penny Zamora, maternal grandparents Kay and Juanita Davies, and paternal grandmother Fay Zamora.
Tyler is survived by his father Rick Zamora, brother Brock Zamora, sister Hannah (Bryce) Benson, nephew's Bridger, Ryder, and niece Ryver Benson, brother Colton (Miranda) Zamora, and nephew Lucas. Tyler is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, great-cousins and close friends.
Tyler you will always be remembered for your gentle soul, huge heart, genuine smile, and your infectious laughter. We all miss you so much already!

My dogs loved Tyler. When we would walk by in the morning, they would run to him, so excited to see him. Tyler was an amazing person. We would chat and laugh. He always would wave if he drove by us. I wish I could have talked to a him one more time. May you be at peace in the arms of our heavenly father.

Alicia, Joey, Jordan, Karianne, Amber and I send our prayers and condolences to the Zamora family. Please feel in comfort that Tyler is with his Mom now and I´m sure they are smiling and embracing. We may not be there for the celebration of life but there in spirit... love to all!
