Our precious son, Tylyn Dior Hampton, was born on July 25, 2025, and in his short time on earth, he brought immeasurable joy and love to everyone who knew him. On September 24, 2025, Tylyn was called home to be with the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of love that will forever live in our hearts.

Though his days were few, Tylyn’s spirit shined brightly. He loved to be talked to, always comforted by the gentle voices of his family. Calming music soothed him, and he especially delighted in being held by his siblings, who surrounded him with endless affection. Tylyn reminded us that even the smallest souls can bring the greatest light.

Tylyn is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Cynthia Thompson.

Left to cherish Tylyn’s memory are his parents, Sherita Carter and Thomas Hampton; Maternal grandparents, Tirta Carter and Troy Thornton; Paternal grandfather, Edward Hampton; and Maternal great-grandparents, Rita Carter and Roger Jackson. His beloved siblings: Sha’tira Hampton, Shayonna Carter, Shaylynn Hampton, Thomas Hampton, Brae’lynn Kelly, Savion Clayton, and Euphoria Hampton, who will forever hold him close in their hearts. His memory will also be treasured by his aunts: Mary Thornton, Alexus Vinson, Jaalyn Thornton, Kherrish Hill, Taylor Thornton, and his uncles: Bryan Hester, Deywon Vinson, Terrell Williams, Troy Thornton Jr, Tawan Hampton, and Robert Thompson, along with a host of extended family and friends who awaited every smile and moment with him.

We take comfort in knowing that Tylyn rests now in the arms of Jesus, where there is only peace and everlasting love. His tiny footprints have left an everlasting mark, and his spirit will live on forever.
