Charles Hampton Obituary
He was born to parents, Rex and Eleanor (Carter) Hampton on February 21st, 1947, in Warren, Ohio.
Charles enjoyed being a part of many different clubs, including the American Legion for many years, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Son's of Italy, The VFW, and Grand Lodge of F & A.M., Orion Lodge. He also loved to play pool in a league for the Son's of Italy, competing at DeeGee's, the Eagles Lodge, Elks Lodge, and the East Ashtabula Club. If he wasn't playing pool he would enjoy golf or play cribbage.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn Meyerholt; daughter, Tiffany Hampton; and grandchildren, Matthew, Kaylee, and Alexa.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Rex and Eleanor Hampton; and his nephew, Kevin.
Calling hours will be held at Ducro Funeral Home, 4524 Elm Avenue, Ashtabula, Ohio 44004, on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, from 12PM – 1PM. Following the calling hours will be military honors at 1PM.
The family requests those in attendance to wear their favorite T-shirt and jeans in his memory.
