Tyrhonda Grant Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Milton Funeral Home, LLC - Dade City on Jan. 27, 2026.
Tyrhonda Deshane Grant was born on December 4, 1980, to the late Mr. Joe Prince and the late Mella Ree Doctor; a beloved daughter whose gentle spirit brought light and love into the world from the very beginning. A proud product of the Pasco County community, she attended and graduated from Pasco High School with the Class of 1999. Guided by her caring nature and dedication to service, she continued her education at Pasco-Hernando Community College, where she earned her LPN license and began a meaningful career in nursing. From childhood into adulthood, Tyrhonda was known for her kind soul; a quiet strength and warmth that instantly made others feel valued and cared for. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, especially shopping and spending time with her family. Those moments, filled with laughter, closeness, and love, were the ones she treasured most. Tyrhonda loved deeply and gave freely. Whether offering a smile, a gentle word, or a supportive presence, she touched hearts with sincerity and grace. Her compassion was natural, her generosity effortless, and her love always steady and true. To know Tyrhonda was to experience kindness. To love her was a blessing. And to remember her is to feel her warmth still. She was loved deeply, she is loved still, and she will be missed always. Tyrhonda was preceded in death by her father Joe Prince Doctor and her mother Mella Ree Doctor. She is survived by: Husband, Troy Grant Sr.; 5 daughters, Kayla Grant, Mia Grant, Layla Grant, Jade Grant, and Londyn Grant; siblings, Joe Doctor (Leilia), Frances Doctor-Thomas (Rouzard), Walter Doctor (Ruthie), Chris Doctor (Luan), Loretta Burns, and Shammerica Parker; granddaughter, Braelyn Barze; goddaughter, Ashleigh Jackson; aunts, Klemetis Parker-Pye (Jeffery) and Lavon Parker-Pearson (Anthony); uncle, Ira Parker Sr.; Tyrhonda is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
