Tyrone Deutsch Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cantelmi Long Funeral Home - Bethlehem on Mar. 26, 2026.
Tyrone E. Deutsch, 57, of Northampton, passed away peacefully in his home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday March 24, 2026. He was the devoted husband of Meseret Demssie for 15 years. Born on September 21, 1968, in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Frank Deutsch and Richard and Janet (Bowser) Wagner, who raised him. Tyrone's journey was one marked by dedication, service, and the joy he found in life's simple pleasures.

A proud graduate of Liberty High School's Class of 1986, Tyrone's commitment to his country was evident early on as he honorably served in the U.S. Air Force. His career led him to become a respected Calibrations Manager for Trescal in the United States. His expertise and adventurous spirit took him to Saudi Arabia, where he worked for British Aerospace for 18 years, contributing significantly to the field and forming lasting international friendships.

His time in Saudi Arabia was not just about work; Tyrone ran a charity for children, showcasing his unwavering commitment to giving back and nurturing the future generation. Back home, he was an active member of the Bethlehem Volunteer Fireman's Home Association (BVFHA) and took pride in his status as a 32 degree Mason.

Tyrone's passion for life was mirrored in his hobbies. An avid golfer, he found solace and joy on the greens, a pursuit that offered him both challenges and camaraderie. His enthusiasm for the Pittsburgh Steelers was infectious, bringing energy and excitement to game days spent with family and friends. Tyrone was a beacon of love and stability for his family.

Survivors: In addition to his loving wife Meseret, are their beloved children, William Edward, Yasmine Rachael, and Everly Rose Deutsch; his brother, Robert C. Wagner and his wife Lori Fritz, as well as his aunts and uncles, Richard and Janine Bowser, Joyce and Morris Pulley, and Joel and Barb Maza. His cousins, Jendy Maskornick Paula Roginsky and Brenda Liebert, will also miss him.

Services: A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday March 31, 2026 at Cantelmi Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street Bethlehem, PA 18018, where there will be a viewing from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Military honors will be held on the front lawn of the funeral home immediately following the funeral service.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tyrone's name to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
